String knit gloves are used for general purpose work applications and can provide cut and abrasion resistance, using high performance yarns, to further protect the hands when working with sharp objects. Various material weights provide longer durability or additional dexterity where needed. Some styles may be dipped or coated with a polymer to provide a better grip and increase durability.

Abel Products introduces Memphis™ Dyneema® PU for our most economical Dyneema® hand protection offering. This 10 gauge blend of Dyneema®/Nylon/Spandex in a seamless shell provides abrasion, tear and cut protection. The polyurethane palm and finger coating enhances grip and wear. Memphis™ Dyneema® earned a top CE score of 4 in abrasion and tear resistance, with a total score of 4341 (abrasion, cut, tear, & puncture).
